BioMan operates in the fields of research, development and production in the biotechnological fermentation sector. The company creates innovative products destined to become high value-added components of functional foods, dietetic products, food supplements and cosmetic products.
These are the only such products available in the marketplace, in that they combine live lactic acid bacteria with organic oligoelements, a combination that is not generally available for sale.
The global market of functional foods and dietary supplements is 117 billion US $.
Competitive advantage
The products offered by BioMan are unique in the European context, since they combine live lactic acid bacteria and trace elements in organic form - 2 functions in the same product.
The double function permits to have an higher retail price and higher margins both for producer and retailer. But the price will be definitely lower compared to the sum of the 2 single products. Moreover there will be an advantage for the consumer.
