 Mission

Providing Citizens and Tourists with an innovative platform for online/offline location based and third party editorial contents for Smartphones.

Industry Segment / Product

ICT services. We have three business units: Arianna (Multimedia guides for tourists and citizens), ICT Consultancy business, Noody (WiFi coverage of public places).

Competitive advantage

We have the focus on off-line editorial contents and multimedia guides.
Distribution of contents through multiple channels:

  • Download from web
  • Mobile broadband (UMTS, CDMA, HSDPA, HEDGE)
  • MMS / SMS / WAP
  • Bluetooth kiosks strategically positioned (metro/train/bus stations, cinemas etc.)
  • WiFi Hotspots

Targeting both citizens and tourists.

Market opportunity

Because of market penetration and telecom contracts structure, we believe that in the next 5 years a fully online guide cannot catch the biggest part of the citizen market.

Focusing on cities instead of a full coverage of the territory allow us to give out for free maps at acceptable price and manage the limited resources of a smart phone effectively.

Sartphones memories allow today to manage several GB of information.
This choice doesn't hurt too much the market potential of the solution because cities represents more than 50% of human fingerprint on the planet, with USA as its peak with 87%.

Italy has the highest “territorial density” of devices and the highest absolute number of smartphone, after the U.S. (US+EU5).
There is a huge market potential, but a few factors are delaying the diffusion of mobile contents among Italian users:

  • Language
  • Lack of local publishers able to bring their contents to digital mobile format
  • High Mobile internet tariffs
  • Low connectivity (WiFi)

The same arguments are valid for many european countries
