Graduated in 1994 in Ingegneria Gestionale from Politecnico di Milano, and MBA (1998) from MIT Sloan School of Management (Cambridge, Massachusetts).
He joined Booz Allen & Hamilton Italia Ltd, as a consultant where he worked on strategy and operations for the aeronautic industry. He moved to the Chicago office of Booz Allen & Hamilton Inc., specializing in financial operations.
Back in Italy in 2000, he co-founded (with Mr Pescarmona) the Gruppo MutuiOnline, where he's the CEO.

Mr Fracassi is a member of the MIT SLoan School of Management Dean's Advisory Board.
